Si Da Precision will exhibit new products for spindle moving automatic lathe

Sida Precision has introduced two new models, the "ECAS-20T Type A" and "ECAS-20T Type B," designed for spindle-moving automatic lathes. These innovative machines will make their debut at the EMO Hannover 2007, one of the most prestigious international machine tool exhibitions, held from September 17 to 22, 2007. The products are expected to be officially launched in March 2008, marking a significant advancement in precision machining technology. The ECAS-20T series offers a maximum machining diameter of 20mm and a spindle table movement of up to 350mm. With a spindle speed of 10,000 rpm, it delivers high-speed performance while maintaining exceptional accuracy. Both the front and rear spindle motors provide consistent power output of 3.7 kW, enabling simultaneous turning, milling, chamfering, and deep-hole drilling using an oil hole drill on both sides. This dual-functionality enhances productivity and reduces the need for multiple setups. Type B features an advanced control system that allows the rear spindle table to move vertically relative to the main spindle axis. This unique capability makes it ideal for machining complex eccentric components with ease. The front of the machine is equipped with a tower-style tool magazine controlled by the X/Y axes of the spindle center, allowing for efficient simultaneous turning and milling operations. The back-side turret also supports two-axis (X/Y) control, significantly reducing processing time on both sides. The machine can be fitted with up to 8 tools, including ferrules, sleeves, and rotary cutters, providing versatile machining options. The fast feed rate of 30m/min represents a 1.7-fold improvement over the previous model, enhancing overall efficiency. The integration of CNC functions helps reduce calculation time for the spindle, minimizing non-cutting time. Additionally, improvements in control system switching and data processing further optimize the workflow. As a result, the total processing time is 30% shorter compared to the older "ECAS-32T" model. To ensure thermal stability during operation, the new product includes a dedicated spindle cooling unit. This system effectively suppresses thermal deformation caused by heat generated during high-speed cutting. The use of a cutting oil cooling device also helps manage temperature increases from the rotating tools and the cutting fluid itself. Moreover, the machine incorporates an energy-saving hydraulic system, which lowers standby power consumption. Compared to the previous model, the energy consumption per component is reduced by as much as 37%, making the ECAS-20T series not only more efficient but also more environmentally friendly. With these advancements, Sida Precision continues to push the boundaries of precision machining technology.
