Shengu Group developed the largest localized air separation unit
Recently, the Shengu Group delivered exciting news: the largest localized 52,000 air separation unit (H596)’s medium and low-pressure cylinders have successfully passed testing. This major breakthrough marks a significant milestone in the development of the Drums Air-to-Air Unit, elevating the company’s technological capabilities to new heights and offering a meaningful contribution to China’s equipment manufacturing industry.
The H596 product is a large-scale air compressor unit specifically designed for the 52,000 air separation plant of Henan Zhongyuan Dahua Company. It was one of the key "national projects" undertaken by the Shengu Group last year and represents a flagship product for the company. The medium and low-pressure cylinders stand over 5 meters tall, span more than 10 meters in length, with a rotor diameter of 1.20 meters. Each individual cylinder weighs over 50 tons, making it a massive and technically complex component.
The size, design complexity, and manufacturing challenges of this unit have pushed the boundaries of local air compression technology.
