Kawasaki steamship new ship is put into the Pacific route

Kawasaki Steamship has recently taken delivery of a brand-new 5,624 TEU container vessel from a state-of-the-art shipyard. This marks the third vessel in the five-ship series of 5,624 TEU ships that Kawasaki has received. The newly delivered ship is set to begin its service on the Pacific route PSW1, which is part of the CKYH (China-Korea-Yellow Sea) alliance. The PSW1 route is one of the key routes operated under the CKYH collaboration, and Kawasaki Steamship is responsible for providing the capacity of eight 5,500 TEU vessels on this route. Major shipping companies such as Yangming and Hanjin have signed long-term charter agreements to lease space on this route, ensuring stable cargo flow and efficient operations across the Pacific. This latest addition strengthens Kawasaki's position in the global container shipping market, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. With growing demand for reliable and efficient shipping services, the company continues to invest in modern, eco-friendly vessels that meet the highest industry standards. The new ship is equipped with advanced technology to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, reflecting Kawasaki’s commitment to sustainable maritime operations.
