Energy-saving irrigation and drainage flood control valve through the new identification
On June 9, the "H7614X1.6C Energy-Saving Irrigation and Drainage Flood Control Valve," developed by Hunan Liwei Hydraulic Equipment Co., Ltd., successfully passed the new product appraisal organized by the Comprehensive Utilization Bureau of the Ministry of Water Resources in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. The appraisal meeting was attended by 14 experts from various fields, including scientific research, design, irrigation and drainage, as well as representatives from testing institutions, product development units, and user organizations. Notably, Wang Yangqun, Deputy Director of the Integrated Utilities Department of the Ministry of Water Resources and President of the China Irrigation District Association, along with Feng Guangzhi, former Director of the Department of Water and Wastewater under the Ministry of Water Conservancy, and local government officials from Xiangtan City and its surrounding counties, also participated in the event.
The "H7614X1.6C Energy-Saving Irrigation and Drainage Flood Control Valve" is designed for use in river embankments, farmland irrigation and drainage systems, and urban sewage discharge. It effectively prevents floodwaters from flowing back into farmlands and urban streets. According to the expert appraisal committee, compared to traditional gate valves, this new valve offers improved flow efficiency, lower power consumption, a more rational structure, and innovative design concepts. It has reached an internationally advanced level.
