This is from Josh Boyajian: It was the second fire of the day for Cicero on April 15th, 2016. A 2.5-story wood-frame home at 6006 29th Street caught fire, with visible flames in the rear. From what I could tell, most of the fire was contained within the walls and attic. I arrived on scene and took a few photos before command decided to pull the box. It's always sobering to see how quickly a structure can go from normal to fully engulfed. The firefighters did an admirable job containing it, but the damage was still significant. It’s a reminder of the importance of early detection and quick response. If you’re ever near this area, keep an eye out for any signs of smoke or unusual activity — safety first.
