The Test of the Stability of CNC Cutting Machine under Non-Industrial Electricity Voltage Environment

Due to the continuous downturn in the domestic machinery processing industry environment, many companies have already begun to control operating costs. While reducing the cost of hardware costs, they are also reducing labor. Many of them have chosen to replace the factory to control expenses. There are also some Micro-machining companies choose to produce in a non-industrial environment. For a long time, the use of CNC cutting machines will face such a problem: the stability of the use of CNC cutting machines in non-industrial electrical voltage environments.

If we first look at the power requirements of CNC cutting machines, other types of CNC cutting machines for non-plasma cutting operations, such as flame cutting, only need to provide continuous power supply to the control system. At present, many manufacturers of machine tool control systems Power requirements can be 220/380V options, so even in the civilian power environment, the flame CNC flame cutting machine can still be used stably. The key is the CNC plasma cutting machine. Shanxi Huaheng technical workers through the actual test, the use of plasma cutting machine for 220V voltage environment is as follows:

When the CNC cutting machine is running, the machine tool light suddenly goes off, the machine operation panel light is not on, the system power supply is normal, and the system stops and alarms, and there is no signal alarm on the spindle. After powering off, the fault persists.

Failure analysis and inspection: After asking the operator at the time, there is no illegal operation, and the reason for the exclusion of humans can also exclude mechanical reasons. It should be caused by electrical faults. The machine's electrical schematic shows that these areas of power loss are related to 24V, and the machine has two regulated power supplies, one is the I/O interface power supply and the other is the system power supply. The power loss area is related to the I/O interface, so the open electrical cabinet observes that the I/O interface power supply indicator light fails to light, indicating that the power supply is not working or damaged. It is known from the working principle of the regulated power supply that the regulated power supply has the function of current short-circuit and overload protection, and automatically shuts off the power output when the power supply is short-circuited or overloaded to protect the power supply circuit from being damaged. Then tried to remove the output load circuit of the power supply and found that the power indicator light was on after the power was turned on again. This means that the power supply itself is not damaged. Through analysis that the power supply for the I / O interface power, the load is not, there will be no overload phenomenon, should be a short circuit fault in the output circuit. Inspection along the output line number revealed that a 24V+ output cable connector emerged from the insulating tape and touched the CNC cutting machine bed. The reason is obvious: Due to a short-circuit to the ground caused by this line and the machine tool, the regulated power supply is in a self-protected state, causing the operation panel and some I/O interface relays to stop supplying power, resulting in the above failure. As for the inverter alarm, 24V signal may not be in place to send an alarm.

Solution: Re-wrap the joints with insulating tape, and turn on the power again to solve all the problems. The alarm release light is also on.
