### **Application Fields of Twin Screw Pump**
Twin screw pumps are widely used across various industries due to their versatility and efficiency. Here are some of the key application areas:
1. **Oilfield**: Ideal for transporting crude oil, sewage, sump oil, polymer, and oil-gas mixtures.
2. **Shipbuilding Industry**: Used as marine cargo oil pumps, sweeping-cabin pumps, ballast pumps, lubricating oil pumps, and loading pumps.
3. **Petroleum Products Transportation & Storage**: Suitable for oil storage, wharf operations, and oil transfer systems.
4. **Petrochemical Industry**: Perfect for conveying acids, alkalis, resins, pigments, inks, paints, glycerol, and paraffin.
5. **Thermal Power Plants**: Efficient for handling heavy oil, thick oil, and fuel oil.
6. **Food Industry**: Used to transport alcohol, honey, syrup, milk, cream, soy, plant oil, animal oil, and wine.
7. **Paint Industry**: Effective for coating barrel loading and unloading.
---
### **Advantages of Twin Screw Pump**
- High self-priming capability
- Low noise, no pulsation, and no emulsification or shearing of the transported media
- High efficiency
- Available in multiple models for different applications
- Capable of handling gas-liquid mixtures
- Can transport volatile oils at high temperatures, such as gasoline
---
### **Performance Specifications**
- **Flow Rate:** 3–2000 m³/h
- **Pressure:** 0–4.0 MPa
- **Temperature Range:** -20°C to 350°C
- **Viscosity:** 0–10,000 mm²/s (up to 1×10ⶠmm²/s with special design)
---
### **Types of Twin Screw Pumps**
1. **Installation Type**: Horizontal or vertical
2. **Structure Type**: Cast or welded
3. **Heating Type**: Available based on the media requirements
4. **Material Options**:
- Pump body: Cast steel, cast iron, stainless steel, Q235, 304, 316L, and weld
- Screw cover: Cast steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, 304, 316L, 17-4PH, etc.
- Customizable materials based on working conditions
---
### **Structure and Working Principle**
- The pump consists of a housing, driving and driven screws, shaft seal, synchronizing gears, and a safety valve.
- The screws have symmetrical rectangular threads. The synchronizing gears drive the screws to rotate and engage, allowing the medium to be drawn in from both sides and pushed toward the outlet.
- A safety valve is installed on the side of the pump body, set at 1.1 times the working pressure. It can be adjusted according to actual conditions.
- Pumps with flow rates below 15 m³/h do not include a safety valve.
---
### **Operation Instructions and Precautions**
1. Mount the pump and motor on a sturdy base to prevent vibration damage and ensure stable operation.
2. Ensure all connections meet government standards.
3. Standard operating type: Input screw on the right, output on top, rotating clockwise. Contact us if a different configuration is needed.
4. Install a 20-mesh filter with a flow area at least four times that of the pump inlet.
5. Ensure pipe sizes match the pump’s inlet and outlet to avoid performance issues.
6. Clean the system thoroughly before first use.
7. Open all valves before starting the pump. Adjust as needed during operation.
8. Monitor the vacuum value after starting. If no vacuum is achieved within one minute, stop and check.
9. When using the pump for cabin cleaning, limit rotation time to 3 minutes to avoid seal damage.
10. Use 180# medium load gear oil. Check the oil level regularly. Operating temperature should not exceed 70°C, and long-term operation should not exceed 80°C.
11. Regularly check and lubricate the gears.
12. For closed-seal frame pumps, check for leaks under the shaft seals. If damaged, do not close other pipes to prevent bearing damage.
13. For high-flow and high-pressure pumps, cooling water circulation (about 2 m³/h) is recommended.
14. For high-viscosity media, use a pump equipped with a heating system.

### **Common Troubleshooting and Solutions**
1. **Pump cannot prime or displacement is insufficient**
- Possible causes: Leaking input pipe, worn screws, high inlet vacuum, damaged shaft seal, or faulty safety valve.
- Solutions: Tighten bolts, replace parts, clean filters, or adjust/replace the safety valve.
2. **Unusual noise, smoke, or overheating**
- Causes: Damaged bearings, lack of oil, impurities in the pump, or poor gear oil quality.
- Solutions: Replace bearings, add oil, clean the pump, or replace gear oil.
---
### **Assembly and Disassembly of Screw Pump**
#### **Disassembly of the Pump Input Shaft End**
- Remove the coupling and key.
- Take off the end caps and bearings.
- Carefully retract the shaft bracket using bolts.
- Check and replace damaged seals or bearings.
- Pull out the screw only if necessary.
#### **Reassembly Steps**
- Reinstall the shaft bracket and locate the pin.
- Replace the adjusting washer and oil seal if damaged.
- Assemble the bearings and retaining nuts.
- Reattach the coupling after checking smooth rotation.
#### **Disassembly of the Gearbox End**
- Remove the gearbox and gear components.
- Follow similar steps as above for reassembly.

Screen Printing Ink is an important part of the screen printing process as it is responsible for creating vibrant and durable prints on a variety of surfaces. This special type of printing ink is designed to adhere to a variety of materials, including paper, fabric, plastic and metal, making it a versatile option for many applications.
One of the key properties of screen printing ink is its ability to withstand the rigors of the printing process. Unlike traditional inks, screen printing ink are formulated to pass through fine mesh screens, which requires a thicker consistency to prevent bleeding and smudging. This ensures that the ink is deposited precisely on the printing surface, resulting in crisp, sharp images.
