After taking up his new position, George will be responsible for advancing the growth strategy of Goodyear Commercial Vehicle's tire business, focusing on the sustainable development of the business and improving the operational management level.
George joined Goodyear Tire Company in 2001. He is responsible for the development of e-commerce and retail strategies. In 2005, he was appointed General Manager of the Benelux Economic Area. In 2010, he was appointed General Manager of Goodrich Dunlop UK and Ireland.
Erich Fric will replace George's post as General Manager of Goodyear Dunlop Tyre UK, effective July 1.

Goodyear Tire Corp. announced that it has appointed George Rietbergen (pictured above) as Vice President of Business Products for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Effective July 1, George previously served as General Manager of Goodyear Dunlop Tyre UK.
