The pins of the male connector are surface-mounted; the female connector uses the clamping/grinding technology. The female connector is designed to use AWG 22, 20 and 18 loose or stranded cables. The user can also select some terminal loads. To ensure reliable machining, MaxiBridge components are partially gold plated on the terminal surface, fully plated terminals, reliable double-bar spring contacts, soldered brackets, and minimum contact force. By using standard tools, the cable can be easily clipped/milled to the upper terminal.
