China's wind power companies need to be transformed

The National Energy Administration and the China Wind Energy Association stated that the problems encountered in the development of wind power in China are long-term problems. Grid access is one of the three major issues that restrict the development of wind power. The grid access to wind power can not increase profits, but it increases the difficulty of grid management, so it is not positive. The difficulty of power grid management is reflected in the fact that wind power sometimes has no impact on power flow and the time mismatch between wind power generation power curve and load curve. The second problem is the conflict with other power sources. The strong volatility of wind power necessarily requires other power sources, especially coal and electricity, to perform peak shaving. Although coal-fired power has peak-shaving capabilities, reducing power will increase unit coal consumption and reduce the profits of coal-fired power companies. Therefore, neither power generators nor local governments will support it. . The third issue is the tight funding for construction. This is not only related to monetary tightening, but also related to difficulties in the operation of power generation companies.

Shi Lishan, deputy director of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Division of the National Energy Administration, believes that these problems are closely related to the immature development of wind power and unregulated industry management.

The National Energy Administration did a lot of active exploration in strengthening industry management last year. Although some achievements have been made, the environment facing wind power development has not undergone qualitative changes, and it is difficult to achieve major breakthroughs in the near future.

At the 2012 China Wind Energy Spring Tea Party Conference held in Beijing, Shi Lishan said: “The electricity market constraint has become the biggest obstacle to the healthy development of wind power in China.”

As a new industry, wind power, its market issues must be resolved first, in order to follow the better development and development. Ma Ronghua said that due to the rapid growth of the domestic wind power industry, the construction of service systems and the establishment of service personnel are lagging behind, and investors rely more on the services of the host equipment manufacturers. The responsibility and pressure for service of wind power equipment manufacturers are getting bigger and bigger. One is to continue to pay for quality assurance services, the duration of services is getting longer and longer, tendering conditions are becoming more and more demanding; second, product prices are getting lower and lower The product is really worth, and the market is consuming excessive market resources from the previous period, paying for the immature quality of the technology, and shifting to excessive and advanced consumption services.

Domestic wind power companies face bottlenecks in market and technology. Wind power companies urgently need a market change and change from the outside to the inside. Instead of expanding their manufacturing scale too quickly, they should focus on user needs, strengthen internal management, and establish a user-centric manufacturing service company. .
