Causes of Table Crawling Caused by CNC Molding Grinding Machines

The causes of the crawling of the table caused by the CNC forming grinder can be mainly divided into two categories: one is the mechanical reason; the other is the table crawling caused by the numerical control system itself.

1. Poor lubrication between table rails and bed rails Table crawling is often caused by poor lubrication of the table running rails. Lubrication is too small, or simply due to the blockage of the lubrication channel, the lubricating oil will not hit the guide rail, which increases the friction between the guide rails and causes the table to crawl. At this time, we only need to open the lubrication channel or adjust the lubrication volume appropriately to solve the crawling problem. It should be noted that the amount of lubrication between the guide rails cannot be adjusted too much, otherwise it will cause drift during the operation of the table, which in turn will cause problems related to the quality of the ground workpiece.

2. The power transmission part of the table causes the power transmission part of the table, that is, the lead screw and its associated connecting part, including the lead screw itself and the bearings used for the connection.

First of all, when we turn the screw by hand, there should be no obvious sense of blockage, and the hand turns to be soft and even. If the feel is blocked, the bearing of the screw may be damaged, and the ball or raceway in the screw nut may be damaged or dirty, such as small chips. We should proceed according to the inspection situation, or replace the bearing, or change the screw, or clean, or ask the professional to adjust the screw and precision recovery. Second, we need to check the parallelism of the guide rails on the bed rails. Generally, when we leave the factory, we adjust the parallelism of the guide rails to the two busbars within O.08mm or less. The actual application of the machine can be appropriately relaxed to 0.1mm. If it is out of tolerance, it should be adjusted within the standard range. Another situation is that there is a problem with the screw and the servo motor connection. We require that the concentricity of the two axes connected here is relatively high. Generally, the concentricity of the two axes should be controlled within 0.1 mm. Otherwise, the workbench creeps beyond the error correction range of the coupling and the servo motor.

3. Deformation of bed and workbench caused this situation is generally due to the seasonal temperature difference changes, and there is no corresponding temperature adjustment device in the equipment room, which causes the environment temperature of the machine tool to change greatly, and the corresponding guide rail is deformed due to the temperature change. After deformation of the guide rails, its running contact conditions are poor, only a few places are in contact, the guide rails have larger clearances, and the lubricant oil leaks, thus failing to form a true oil film, causing the table to crawl. This situation is more complicated. Professionals should be asked to use the equipment to test and repair the bed.
