At present, the demand growth of titanium dioxide in China, especially rutile titanium dioxide, is far higher than the international average growth rate, and continues to maintain a strong growth momentum. It is expected that the global demand for titanium dioxide will increase to 5.3 million tons in 2009, and the domestic market demand will reach 1.2 million tons or more.
