2. Before the measurement, the power supply of the device under test and the circuit shall be cut off, and the related components shall be temporarily grounded to ensure the safety of the person and the megohmmeter and the measurement result.
3. Must be correctly wired when measuring. The Megohm meter has three terminals (L, E, G). When measuring the loop resistance to ground, the L terminal is connected to the bare conductor of the loop, and the E terminal is connected to the grounding wire or metal shell; when measuring the insulation resistance of the loop, the head and tail ends of the loop are connected to L and E, respectively; the insulation of the measuring cable is When resistance, in order to prevent the cable surface leakage current from affecting the measurement accuracy, the cable shield should be connected to the G terminal.
4. Measured from the megohmmeter terminals, the measuring cord insulation should be good, and the distance between the two wires and between the wire and the ground should be maintained to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy.
5. When shaking the Megohmmeter, do not touch the megohmmeter terminal and the circuit under test with your hands to prevent electric shock.
6. After shaking the megohmmeter, the terminals cannot be shorted to avoid damage.
