New wastewater treatment technology passed acceptance

Zhejiang Hualian invested RMB 4 million in the successful development of a stripping and incineration plant jointly with Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, which has been in trial operation for six months and has recently undergone multi-sector acceptance.
The polyester production process will generate a large amount of waste water. At present, the anaerobic and oxygen-consuming biochemical treatment methods (so-called “dosing”) are adopted. Not only the raw material cost is high, but also there is a problem that the COD decline is not obvious and odors are generated. In order to meet the COD emission requirements, companies have to deal with it by dilution with water. The treatment of 1t of waste water requires 4t of clean water, which is not only a waste of water resources, but also because the organic matter in the waste water cannot be removed and the discharged water still has a bad smell. This set of stripping and incineration equipment includes separation of organic matter, collection of exhaust gas, incineration and reuse. Utilizing the characteristics of volatile organics in wastewater, the organics are separated from the water by heating. This process can reduce the COD of wastewater from the original 20000mg/L to 4000mg/L. It only needs a simple biochemical treatment. It can reach the emission standard of 1000mg/L. The separated organic matter is collected and incinerated for reuse. It can generate up to 0.8t steam per hour, which can meet the operational needs of the entire system. After the entire device is in operation, it can save 1.4 million yuan of drug investment and 1.6 million yuan of sewage charges every year. It can also save more than 1,000 tons of water every day, and the processing cost is only half of the original.
