Into the mature development period, the rubber industry needs to make persistent efforts

Recalling that in 2007, China's rubber industry realized increased production and income, and entered a period of mature development. From February 25 to 27, at the “3rd China Rubber Market Development Forum” sponsored by the China Rubber Industry Association, domestic and foreign rubber producers, distributors, and downstream manufacturers saw the rubber industry in China, which has entered a mature period, large. Accelerating the pace of development of enterprises, shortening the process of new product development and marketization, greatly enhancing the capacity for independent research and development, and stimulating domestic investment and attracting investment. However, the impact of various unfavorable factors in the past year will be reflected in 2008. Rubber companies need to rely on their own steady development to avoid inflection points in the industry.
After entering the mature stage, the rubber industry's important task is to strengthen independent innovation, accelerate the development of strong enterprises, and closely follow international frontier technologies to vigorously develop market-demanding new products. In recent years, tires and other rubber products companies have continuously increased the proportion of technical inputs. The 26/28-inch run-flat tires have been developed and industrialized. The first aviation tires have come out. Giant radial tires have demonstrated their own level of independent innovation. R&D capacity has increased dramatically. Large-scale enterprises should be further strengthened and expanded on the existing basis, while small and medium-sized enterprises must identify market positions and develop special products that meet the demand for development, such as characteristic industrial clusters such as Hengshui Engineering Rubber Industrial Base and Ninghai Auto Rubber and Rubber Accessories Base. Will have stronger competitive strength. In addition, at present domestic brands tend to have a wall of flowering walls, such as Wanli semi-steel tires, double-loaded heavy-duty tires, etc. Although they have been approved by foreign customers, their popularity in China is still low. The China Rubber Industry Association hopes to further enhance the market awareness of branded products and brand distributors by strengthening brand recommendation, quality credit and other measures, and to regulate the market and promote the progress of the company.
