The hydraulic excavator has an engine output of up to 2240 kW / 3000 hp and can be equipped with a bucket of up to 34 cubic meters. This series of hydraulic excavators are widely used in civil engineering, industrial material handling, hydraulic engineering, building demolition and mining.

Liebherr will present a R 914 B and a R 944 B crawler hydraulic excavator from Liebherr Machinery (Dalian) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai. Also on display were the 50-ton R 954 C crawler excavator and an A 934 C-type grabber.

Two Chinese-made crawler excavators

The standard configuration of the Liebherr R 914 B hydraulic excavator, with a working weight of approximately 25 tons, has been launched in the Chinese market for two years. Excavated at the 2006 BMW China show, the excavator is powered by Liebherr's low-emission inline 4-cylinder, direct-injection, turbocharged water-cooled diesel engine with a net output of 112 kW (152 hp) / 2000 rpm.

The R914B excavator is fitted with a heavy duty HD-SL chassis to ensure the machine's high stability. The gauge is 2400 mm and the track is 600 mm wide. The work unit consists of a 5.7-meter integral boom and a 2.4-meter stick, as well as a heavy-duty backhoe bucket with a capacity of 1 m3 and a width of 1250 mm. Steel castings are used at each stress point where work is strong to ensure that the work unit continues to withstand harsh working conditions.

The cab is optimized with ergonomic concepts for safe and comfortable design.
Convenience. Under the control of the electro-hydraulic system, the excavator is easy to operate and has high accuracy. Maintenance is simple and convenient, and all maintenance points are easily accessible. In terms of efficiency and reliability, the R 914 B excavator is one of the most popular models in the world.

The other machine on display was a 38.5-ton class produced at the Liebherr Dalian plant.
R 944 B hydraulic excavator. The excavator has a wide range of applications. It can be used for large-scale earthwork in large construction sites and is also very suitable for material handling.
Demolition of used buildings, water conservancy projects and mining.

The 6-cylinder diesel engine has a net power of 180 kW (245 hp). The components of the drive system are produced by Liebherr itself, including the engine, the travel gear, the rotating ring gear, the hydraulic pump and the cylinder, and are professionally designed to coordinate the components. R 944 B series stable heavy duty chassis with a gauge of 2600 mm.
Track width 600 mm.

The R 944 B's work unit on display includes a 6.3-meter-long integral boom, a 2.6-meter stick, and a heavy-duty backhoe bucket with a capacity of 1.95 m3. The bucket width is 1500 mm. Steel castings are used at each stress point where work is strong to ensure that the work unit continues to withstand harsh working conditions.

Powerful R 954 C excavator for large-scale earthmoving

The R954C excavator is the largest excavator exhibited by Liebherr at the 2006 Bauma show. This powerful excavator weighs 50 tons and is powered by the D 936 six-cylinder engine, delivering a net power of 240 kW (326 hp) at 1800 rpm. This diesel engine has the function of achieving a larger power with a smaller displacement, high efficiency, long service life. The precise size and unique structural design ensure good engine operation. Like the automotive industry, four valves are installed per cylinder, reducing valve load and increasing service life.
The Liebherr fuel electronic control system ensures the reliability of the drive train. All operating functions are monitored by a continuous target-actual difference comparison. The electronic fuel injection system adopts the PLN type injection principle, and the injection quantity and injection duration are electronically adjusted. The spacious cab is equipped with an automatic air conditioning system that provides the driver with a spacious work area and a well ventilated environment. The secondary heating function quickly dehumidifies the cab. The right window of the cab of this excavator is made of one piece of glass. The working device is arranged by hydraulic hose close to the car. The inclined upper control dial and engine cover provide a full range of vision, ensuring safety and convenience. operation.

As an option, the R 954 C Litronic can be fitted with Liebherr work unit control systems: after changing the hydraulic tools, pressure and flow settings can be achieved with the push of a button. The R 954 C has up to 10 accessory function settings. This function is simple, time-saving, and the other work device conversion system is unparalleled.

New A 934 C Litronic industrial excavator with powerful handling

In its wide range of excavators for industrial material handling equipment, Liebherr exhibited the A 934 C Litronic tire-type steel grabber at BMW China 2006. With a working weight of approximately 36 tons, this machine is one of Liebherr's eight types of tire material handlers. The smallest of Liebherr's wheeled material handlers is the A 316 Litronic, which weighs about 19 tons. The A 974 B Litronic is the largest and weighs 127 tons. It is the flagship of this series and also makes it the flagship product of the series. It has become the world's largest wheeled excavator.

In all Type C machines, the A 934 C Litronic excavator is powered by a new diesel engine. It is equipped with a pneumatic turbocharged intercooled engine with a power of 150kW (204hp), 1,800 rpm and a displacement of 7000 cc.

As a specialized material handling machine, the A 934 C Litronic is equipped with hydraulic legs to ensure the stability of the machine and enable the machine to perform excellent loading tasks at a height of 18.5 meters with a working radius of 18 meters. This exhibit is equipped with an 8.6-meter-long boom 7.5-meter industrial stick, a 1.10 m3 GM70C multi-claw grab and a squat grab.

A steel grabber with an "additional variable lift system" can be adapted to different types of work environments. There are reserved holes on the boom and slewing platform, respectively, which can be adjusted to achieve a maximum optimized working load in a limited working area.

The additional variable lifting system allows the machine to adapt to different tasks. The special working device can be used in applications requiring great processing capacity, ie in the case of loading and unloading.

As standard, the A 934 C Litronic grabber has a semi-automatic central lubrication system to ensure lubrication. As an option, this system can be upgraded to a fully automatic lubrication system.

Another feature of the A934C Litronic is its spacious cab that provides a wider view. The ergonomically designed driver's seat can be fully adjusted to the driver's weight. As standard, an air conditioning system is installed to facilitate the driver's concentration and comfortable operation during long hours of operation. As an option, a strong mesh cover can be installed on the top and front of the cab to protect the driver.
The A 934 C Litronic at the BMW show is equipped with a hydraulic cab lift system as an option. When the driver performs the unloading operation, he can adjust the field of view to adjust the height of the driving field of view, ensuring that the driver has the best view of the work area.
