Here’s a report from ABC7Chicago.com:

A two-alarm fire broke out in a home in west suburban Oak Park on May 7, 2015. A young boy and a man were rescued and taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to Village President Anan Abu-Taleb. The boy's sister, around 12 or 13 years old, was also at home during the fire and is currently recovering in the hospital.

Neighbors reported hearing a loud explosion before the flames started. Firefighters arrived at the scene around 11:30 p.m. Thursday to find the back of the apartment fully engulfed. The fire quickly spread to the adjacent structure, causing both buildings' roofs to collapse. Officials believe both homes are likely total losses.
